As many of you are aware, our beloved Pentwater Channel plays an essential role in ensuring safe and enjoyable access for all boaters, fishermen, and visitors to our shores. Sediment buildup and low water levels have made navigation increasingly difficult. Coupled with that, the US Army Corp of Engineers no longer provides funding for dredging. It is more urgent than ever to address this issue. This is where your support comes in.
Our local community partners have launched a critical fundraising campaign to dredge the channel. By contributing to this campaign, we will help ensure that future generations of boaters can continue to enjoy safe passage through our waters. The dredging will also have long-term positive effects on local businesses and tourism, which are vital to the vibrancy of our beautiful town.
We encourage all club members to get involved and learn more about this important effort. Whether through donations, volunteering, or simply spreading the word, your involvement can make a significant difference. The success of this project depends on all of us coming together as a community.
