The First PYC Youth event of the year!
Come join us in the Hatch for a Mother’s Day craft on May 11th from 10:30 - 1:30.
New this year! Grab an activity bag from the baskets in the lobby. Take to your table or to the Hatch, and return the bag and its’ contents when you are done. Check out the new toys, games and activities in the Hatch. Take a look — there are new items on the kid’s menu.
An easy volunteer opportunity — can you help?
The Youth committee is looking for some help to make sure that all activity bags and the Hatch toys and games are organized and ready for kids to have fun. This an easy volunteer opportunity, we promise! Pick a week this summer and stop in at PYC (two times during the week, you choose the day & time) and organize toys, games, and activity bags. Pentwater Yacht Club Jr. Mission
The mission of Pentwater Yacht Club Junior is to give every Junior Member, Intermediate Member, and grandchildren of members the feeling that they are welcome and included at Pentwater Yacht Club. The focus is on fulfilling the purpose of Pentwater Yacht Club to “sponsor the activities of the youth of the club”.
Some highlights of PYC, Jr. include:
Offering youth-engagement items in the Hatch
Providing youth-engagement items/activities outside - southeast of the building
Encouraging youth participation throughout pre-planned PYC activities, such as sailing and social events
Hosting youth-friendly activities at the club
Hosting youth-focused events outside of the club (off-site)
Setting up a Youth Advisory Council as a part of PYC, Jr.
